Muscle spasms?  I had this and thought for sure I was having a heart attack.  Emergency room.  Nothing found but I got a real nice shot of something that made me feel realllll good and more pills to take at home.  24 hours sleep and I was good to go.  And started concentrating on back, shoulder and stomach exercises to support these blimps.  If you must carry a big load, you must keep the surrounding structure super strong.  Also work on your posture, especially when on the computer....I still slouch and pay for it.
