Can I purposely cause the breaker to shut off limitlessly?

Im testing connections and trying to fix all the wiring problems in here by myself. I am not going to ask a proffessional for help. Thats why I am asking you people and so far you have been right. Well some of you have been right. I have caused the breaker to switch off twice in this one room so far and I am wondering how many times can I do this to that one switch? If the answer is that I can endlessly cause it to flip off then my worries will be gone and I can continue with a bit of relief.
